The World Dragon Boat Championships are back!
This year, the Standiana in Savio di Ravenna, home of the Circolo Canottieri (Rowing Club), will be the venue for the top event of this fascinating sports discipline originating in China. 
The event will take place the first week of September, then, with more than 6,500 athletes competing aboard long canoes with bows shaped like dragon heads!
